Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!!!

We spent Christmas Eve with Mommy's family and Christmas Day with Daddy's family. I got lots of presents. I guess you can say I'm spoiled (I mean loved). I got lots of presents last month for my birthday, lots of presents this month for Christmas, I wonder what I'll get next month?

This is my new ride that Grandma and Grandpa Heritage got for me.

Christmas time is here...

Christmas time is here, Happiness and cheer, Fun for all that children call, Their favorite time of the year...

It's Christmas time and we are in the holiday spirit. Mommy, Daddy, and I decorated our house. Daddy put up lights and Mommy and I trimmed the tree. Mommy said we had to get a small tree so she could put it on a table. I guess she doesn't trust me around the tree??? We also made ourselves hot chocolate, piled in the car, and drove around our neighborhood looking at all the lights. There are some great areas with lots of decorations. I guess Christmas time is my new favorite holiday!!!

I helped Mommy decorate our tree...

This is our beautiful (tiny) tree.

Grandpa's Birthday

We took Grandpa John to Trabuco Oaks Steakhouse for his birthday. If you wear a tie, they cut it off. So, of course, Mommy made me wear a stupid tie. I guess it was pretty funny when they came to cut it off.

Happy Birthday Grandpa! I love you!!!

Happy Birthday Palmer - I’m 1 year old!!!!

Mommy and Daddy say this was the fastest year of their life. I’ve grown so much in my first year of life. Mommy says she is very sad that it went by so quickly, but she is happy at the stage I’m in now because I can play, I can laugh, I can clap, I can dance (it’s actually my favorite thing to do), I can eat (with the 8 teeth in my mouth), I can walk (even though I prefer crawling still), I love outdoor adventures (I get cabin fever if I’m cooped up too long), I can talk (even though she doesn’t always understand me)…I’m much more interactive! I’ve had an AMAZING first year filled with lots of love from all my family and friends. I’m one lucky boy!!! Even though the years will go by quickly and I’ll grow up to be a big boy, I’ll try to enjoy every day regardless of what it may bring. Mommy says she’ll be happy as long as I remain her little baby forever. I guess I can give her that one considering all she does for me.

…On to new (toddler) adventures!

My 1st Birthday Party!!!

Mommy and Daddy planned a great party! It was circus themed, filled with cheese popcorn, caramel popcorn, candy apples, cotton candy, rainbow cupcakes, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, chili beans....basically lots of junk food. Auntie Norma and Nina Elda got me a balloon artist and he was AMAZING. You should see all the balloons he was able to make. Nina Elda was our face painter and she painted really cool designs. We asked people to dress up in clown attire and people really got in to the spirit. Even though Uncle Donnie couldn't come to the party, he dyed his hair and shaved it to look like Bozo the clown. He sent me a picture so I can could see his costume. Mommy, Daddy, Nina Elda, Auntie Norma, and Grandma Lu decorated the party with LOTS of balloons. It put a smile on my face when I woke up to see all the balloons in my house. I got so many presents too! It was an exciting day for me and I'm so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. I can't wait to have another year go by, so I can have another birthday party.

My 1st Halloween!

I had a very festive Halloween weekend. I started off on Friday wearing my Halloween attire - black pants and a spooky ghost shirt. On Saturday morning Mommy and Daddy took me to a pumpkin patch that had rides and a petting zoo. It was a lot of fun to pet all the animals, but very stinky because it rained in the morning. In the afternoon I helped my cousin Charley celebrate his 3rd birthday. Mommy dressed me in my pumpkin outfit with my bat shirt. In the evening we went to watch the World Series at my Uncle Gary's house. It was a long day!!! On Halloween Sunday, Mommy, Daddy, Grandma Lu, Nina Elda, and Auntie Norma went to another pumpkin patch. We went on a train ride and went into a haunted house. Don't worry, I wasn't scared at all. I got to wear my costume, which gave me a lot of attention. In the evening, I helped Mommy give out candy to all the trick or treaters. It was a lot of fun and I got so excited every time the door bell rang. I wasn't afraid of the trick or treaters, not even the scarey ones. I can't wait until I'm able to go trick or treating, although it's fun staying and handing out candy. It was a fun filled and memorable Halloween weekend!!!

New Milestones - 10 Months to 11 Months

One more month and it will be my birthday. I'm so excited to be 1 year old, but Mommy is so sad. She says that I am growing too quickly and time is speeding by. So much has happened this month and I've added a few things to my list of 'firsts'. The most exciting thing is that I can walk. I'm not an expert yet and it is sometimes easier to crawl, but I can do it. I also got sick for the first time ever. I had a high fever, a sore throat, and a runny nose. It was not fun...for anyone. However, I survived and got better after 2 weeks. Mommy, Daddy, and Yolanda took good care of me.

I am so active now; I love playing with my toys, I like getting pushed on my car, and I love to play peek-a-boo. However my favorite thing to do right now is walk around my house and my backyard. I'm trying many new foods that Mommy makes me. Oh boy, this month was so exciting that I'm looking forward to next month.

I can walk!!!

I've been walking with the assistance of Mommy, Daddy, and Yolanda for the last month, but today I decided it was time to do it on my own. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of me. I'm still very rusty and sometimes I think it's quicker to crawl than to walk, but I'm getting better every day. I just need to maintain my confidence and go!

Don't worry Daddy, I can do it all by myself.

Look I can even watch TV and walk.

New Milestones - 9 Months to 10 Months

I am 10 months old now. Mommy is very sad that I am growing up so quickly. She says I'm not going to be a baby anymore. I tell her that I'll always be her little baby. This month I had two big milestones.

For one, I now eat food and mommy makes me fresh, yummy fruits and veggies. I eat broccoli, potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, pears, peaches, watermelon, and cantaloupe. I do not like bananas, apples, and avocados. I've got a sweet tooth just like my daddy and mommy, so I prefer the fruit over the veggies. I also eat oatmeal, gerber graduates puffs in sweet potato, banana, and apple cinnamon flavor, and gerber graduates peach yogurt snacks. Mommy has also let me sneak in a bite of her cookie and blueberry muffin. They were yummy. I'm also really like drinking water out of glass, although I sometimes spill all over myself.

The other milestone is that I am picking myself up and walking everywhere - with assistance of course. I love walking!!! Yolanda helps me walk all over my house. If no one is there to help me, I use the walls, the couch, chairs, the table, Mommy's legs - basically anything I can get my hands on - to help me walk. One day soon, I'll get the courage to let go and walk on my own.

I can also turn on/off my music toy that is attached to my crib. Mommy doesn't think it is so funny that I turn in on in the middle of the night, when I should be sleeping. In fact, Mommy doesn't like that I wake up every few hours in the middle of the night. When is she going to learn that I just want her to see my smiling face? I'm having fun each day as I grow and continue to learn new things and have new experiences!!!!

Surf's Up

Daddy is very anxious to take me surfing. Although the weather has been nice, the water has been freezing cold. Even with my new wetsuit, I would freeze out there. So, Mommy and Daddy decided to test out my new wetsuit at home. However, it was a lot harder to get on then we thought. "Don't worry Daddy, I'll be able to surf with you soon enough!"

Mommy tried everything to get the wetsuit on...

Ahhh, it finally was on...

New Milestones - 8 Months to 9 Months

Probably the most exciting thing that I accomplished this month was crawling. Now that I can crawl, I am enjoying my new found freedom. After my 1st week of mastering crawling, I decided that I was going to conquer the stairs next. I really want to walk now too, so I use everything I can to pick myself up.

Mommy went back to work on August 9th. I miss her during the day, but I am having fun with Yolanda. She takes good care of me while Mommy and Daddy are at work. She takes me for walks, we play together with my toys, she feeds me, and she sees that I am well rested with my naps. Even though I like Yolanda, I am very happy when Mommy and Daddy come home from work.

This month was another fun one, filled with adventure. I can't wait to see what next month has in store.

My visit to the Getty Center

While Daddy was in Mexico with his best friends celebrating their 40th birthdays, I stayed home with Mommy and Grandma Lu. We had a week filled with fun and adventure. One of the places we visited was the Getty Center in Los Angeles. Daddy, Mommy, and I had visited the Getty Villa's recently, so it was nice to also go and explore the Getty Center. The Getty is set on beautiful grounds overlooking Brentwood and Bel Air. Thankfully, the sun broke through and we had a beautiful view of the Southland.

I can crawl!!!

For the last month I've been making my attempt at crawling and I finally did it. I just got up on my hands and knees and started making my move. I still get tired and take a break every few moves, but pretty soon I'll be racing all around. Next task to accomplish is walking. I'm already practicing by picking myself up and using the couch as my walker. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of me.

Here I go...

This crawling stuff is hard work. I need a little break and I'll pose for the camera.

The couch is my guide.

New Milestones - 7 Months to 8 Months

I am becoming such a big boy - well that is what Mommy always tells me. I have 6 teeth now...4 on top and 2 on bottom. I seem to get teeth all at once and they really hurt me when they come in. I say 'dada' and I wave hello and goodbye. Mommy thinks she hears me say 'mama' when I cry. I shake my head 'no', mostly just to be funny. I am almost crawling. I do an army crawl now on my tippy toes. This month I celebrated my first 4th of July. It was fun even though I slept through the fireworks. I also went on my first vacation to Palm Desert. I was able to visit a few days with our friends 'The Clayton Family' from San Francisco. I got to meet Darrick, Alisa, Xiara, and Malea. It was a house filled with love and friendship.

Mommy spent a lot of time this month job searching. She finally found a job and will be going back to work soon. I will be staying with my nanny Yolanda during the day. I know we will get along well. Although I will be very sad to leave Mommy, I know she has to get back to work. It will be good for us to get a break from each other. At least that is what Mommy is telling herself so she doesn't break down and cry all day long.

I got to spend a lot of time swimming since the weather has been so hot. It is the only thing that cools me down.

Time is just flying by...pretty soon, it will be my 1st birthday!!!

My 1st 4th of July!!!

I celebrated my 1st 4th of July with family and friends. We went to grandma and grandpa's house and there was a big party. Mommy tells me this party is an annual event at grandma and grandpa's house. It was a lot of fun. Daddy and I swam in the pool with my cousin Anthony.

We hung out with family and friends after swimming. There were a lot of people there. I was passed around like a football. I don't mind, I like being held. I even learned Salsa lessons from Uncle Rafael.

In the evening, the fireworks began. However, I was so exhausted from the day's events that I fell asleep before the main attraction. Mommy and Daddy were bummed that I did not get to see all the fireworks, but they were a little relieved as well because they were concerned that I would not like the noise. I'm sure I would have loved it. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait until next year to experience the big show.

My First Vacation

Mommy and Daddy took me on my first vacation on June 26th, 2010. We went to Palm Desert for 4 days. We went with Nino Matt, Auntie Shelley, Ryan, and Kevin. We had so much fun hanging out in the pool. It was very hot at 109 and 105 degrees, so we had to stay cool with the a/c and the pool. It was a nice relaxing getaway!

New Milestones - 6 Months to 7 Months

I'm 7 Months old today! This past month has been filled with first's. I rolled over for the first time, I was bapized, I now sleep in my crib and in my own room. I'm wearing 9-12 month clothes because I'm a big boy. I love to look at myself in the mirror. Although I'm not crawling, I do like to use Mommy as a jungle gym and I climb all over her. I am resourceful when trying to get around to play with my toys. I say 'dada', although Mommy and Daddy aren't sure if I'm just babbling or if I am intentionally saying 'dada' and 'daddy'. Daddy likes to think it's intentional. Since summer is upon us, we are all looking forward to spending time in the pool and bbq'ing with family and friends. We are also going on our 1st vacation next week - I'll keep you posted on our adventures.

Sleeping like a baby

I'm a big boy now and I sleep in my own room. I actually sleep longer and better, since I don't have to hear Daddy snoring. Mommy keeps the shades drawn, so the morning light does not wake me up and I sleep until 6am at least. When I was in Mommy and Daddy's room, I was up at 5am, as soon as I saw that morning light. I still wake Mommy up to feed me in the middle of the night, but I'm trying to break that habit too. I'll get there Mommy, don't worry.

Now that I am rolling over too, Daddy found me in a different position this morning when I woke up. Oh boy, so much fun!!!!

Today was a blessed day!

I was baptized today at St Kilian Church in Mission Viejo. My Godfather is Matt Risk and my Godmother is Elda Prieto. Mommy and Daddy chose these special people because they are their best friends and they knew they would protect me, guide me, and love me like their own. It was a very nice ceremony and I loved the water bath. I did not cry at all. After the ceremony, we had lunch at our house. Overall, I had a great day and I was very happy being showered with love by my family.

Happy 6 Month Birthday Palmer!!!

Today is my 6 Month Birthday! I've been alive for an entire half a year and boy, what a wonderful 6 months they have been. So much has happened to me and I've grown and changed so much already. Every day I make Mommy and Daddy so proud of me, with all the I have accomplished. I can play, talk (even scream sometimes), laugh, sing, stand, sit up by myself, and jump. I even have 2 teeth. Mommy says I'm silly because I pretend to cough and sometimes I give them a fake laugh. I'm just a ham!

This month alone has been filled with many wonderful adventures too. I went on a ballon ride, watched daddy surf at the the beach, went swimming, attempted to eat food for the first time, visited two different Arboretums, went to the Nixon library, visited Grandma Lu's work and Grandpa John's work, and had two playdates with my friend Natalie. I think we've done more this month, then all my months combined. Together with last months visit to Disneyland and the Getty Museum, I think I've done a lot for a 6 month old. I love going on adventures with Mommy and Daddy. I can't wait to see what we do next!!!

My 1st Tooth

My 1st tooth finally popped up today. I was in a lot of pain yesterday, so Mommy and I were both glad that my tooth finally cut through the gums. I have a 2nd tooth that it just about to cut through too. It should come up any day now. I'm going to look so cute with my new teeth.

You can see my 1st tooth broke through and #2 is just days away from coming out too.

Happy Mother's Day Mommy!

Today is Mother's Day, but we've been celebrating all weekend. Last night Daddy made mommy pasta and sausage, with gorgonzola cream sauce. She loved it. For dessert, we had chocolate covered strawberries. This morning, we made Mommy crepes with fresh strawberries and powdered suger. She said it was yummy. Then we gave her a card and flowers. Daddy helped me write my name in the card. She was really impressed. I love Mommy so much, so I am glad we get to dedicate an entire day to her. However, I pretend it is Mother's Day everyday and that I why I always flash her my smile.

We're going to get ready now to go have brunch at Grandma Lu's. This afternoon, we'll spend the day with Grandpa John's family at Mom & Pop's house. How fun!!! We also celebrated Mother's Day with Grandma Katy and Grandpa Al on Thursday night. Boy, we really have been celebrating all week.

Happy Mother's Day to all Mommy's out there. Even though your kids may not tell you, they really do appreciate ALL you do.

I love when daddy is on vacation!

Daddy is on vacation again this week and we have had a week of adventures. Today we went to the L.A. County Arboretum. It was so big. We got to see Peacocks up close. Mommy's favorite part was the orchid greenhouse. Daddy liked the tropical greenhouse that had the cool mists systems. He wanted to keep going in there to cool down. My favorite was the waterfall. I love my adventures with Mommy and Daddy.

My 1st Meal - I'm still undecided?!?!

Mommy and Daddy fed me organic rice cereal today. I'm not quite sure I like it? It was very different to eat from a spoon. "C'mon Mommy, I was too hungry to eat a little here and a little there." Mommy says that practice makes perfect. Maybe tomorrow she'll try again...when I'm not starving.

My 1st Swim

Today I took my 1st dip in the spa. The temperature was perfect and the weather outside was warm. The sun was shining brightly, so I had to wear a hat and my rashguard. I'm use to taking baths in water and I'm naked when I do that, so it was weird to be in water fully clothed. I quickly got use to the water and I splashed all over Mommy and Daddy. They helped me swim all around the spa. Mommy says we'll be going in the spa a lot this summer. I can't wait!!!!

Adventures

Since Mommy is not working right now, she is taking me on all kinds of adventures before she has to go back to work. Today we went with Nina Elda to the Fullerton Arboretum and the Nixon Library. The Arboretum was so nice with all the flowers, trees and succulents. It was a nice day for a stroll through nature. We did not want the day to end, so we headed for 3 miles over to the Nixon Library. That was really cool. We got to go inside of Marine One and Nixon's childhood home. It was really inspirational. Who know's, maybe I'll be President of the United States someday? I really love our adventures and I look forward to many more fun times with Mommy.

400 ft Up in the Air

Today Mommy, Daddy, Grandma Lu, and I went on a balloon ride at the new OC Great Park in Irvine. The park is not completed yet and won't be until I'm about 20 or 25 years old. They are giving free balloon rides to get people excited for the new park. I'm very excited for this wonderful park, I just wish it would take 1 year to build and not 20 years. It was a nice ride and we had a panoramic view of Orange County, since we were 400 ft up in the air. Mommy and Daddy want to go again when it is a clearer day, so we can see the ocean and Catalina. I wasn't afraid at all. Daddy was brave too, even though he's afraid of heights. Here are some pics and a link to the website, in case you want to ride the balloon too.

New Milestones - 4 Month to 5 Months

Mommy says I'm at a great age right now because I am still a baby and I like to be held, but I am a little more independent now. I play with my toys, I am a better traveler in my car seat, I smile, I laugh, I reach for things, I talk, I sing, I play with my feet, I jump, I splash in my bathtub....boy, I do a lot of things now. Mommy and Daddy are so proud that everyday is a new discovery for me. Mommy and Daddy went on vacation to Florida and I got to stay home with Grandpa John, Auntie Janelle, and Grandma Lucille. Mommy was more upset that we were apart then I was because she missed me so much. I missed her and daddy too, but I was having fun with Grandma, Grandpa, and Auntie. This month I celebrated my first Easter and the Easter bunny brought me books. I also got to go on some fun adventures with Mommy and Daddy. I went to the Getty Villa and saw lots of really old things. I went to Disneyland and got on rides. Tomorrow, we are going on a balloon ride. I'll post photos of that too. Phew, a lot happened this month. How could I top all this next month? Oh yeah, Mommy says I get to start eating fruits and vegetables next month. Yippee!!!!

"The Happiest Place on Earth"

Today I visited the Happiest Place on Earth. I went with Mommy, Daddy, Nina Elda, Auntie Janelle, and Grandma Lucille. I got a pin commemorating my "1st Visit." Everyone else got a pin that said "I'm Celebrating." We had a great time. It had been many, many years since Mommy and Daddy had been to Disneyland, so it was almost like it was their first visit too. I went on 9 rides total. The very first ride I went on was "Snow White's Scary Adventure. I also went on It's a Small World (twice), Disneyland Railroad, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan's Flight, Jungle Cruise, Winnie the Pooh, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Mommy was so nervous that I wasn't going to like Pirates of the Caribbean, but I was okay. Mommy, Daddy, Auntie, and Nina went on the big rides while Grandma stayed with me. At the end of the day, we saw the Main Street Parade and Mommy and I danced in the street with the parade. It was a great day and I can't wait to go back. Daddy says it will be a little while before we go back again. I think he just said that out of exhaustion. I agree, it is the Happiest Place on Earth.

My 1st Visit to the Getty Villa

Mommy and Daddy took me to the Getty Villa today. It was a little boring for me, but the weather was nice so I enjoyed strolling through the garden. Even though we were surrounded by beautiful art and antiques, I was the one who was on display with people coming up to me and playing with me. I'm a cutie, what can I say? (smile/wink)

My First Easter

Happy Easter! I enjoyed my first Easter. I started off the day opening my present from the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny brought me books. Daddy read them to me and I really enjoyed the stories. I also opened up my gift from Grandpa Lucille in the morning as well. We spent the afternoon celebrating with Mommy's family. We had an easter egg hunt at Mom & Pop's and Grandpa John helped me find a few eggs. I also got to experience my first earthquake. It was all we could talk about for the rest of the afternoon. I got to meet my cousin Nikki, Savannah, and Sierra for the first time. The live in Idaho and were visiting for the holiday. Grandpa John got me a gift too and I opened it. It was a sun hat and boardshorts so I can go swimming this summer. Mommy and Daddy tell me that I can go swimming as soon as the weather warms up. I'm looking getting in the pool because I love my baths and since I take after my daddy, I'll probably like the pool too. I can't wait! What a day...presents and family. I can get use to this 'Easter' thing.

New Milestones – 3 Months to 4 Months

This month has been another adventure for me. I started teething and I’ve been the drool monster. At first, my teeth did not bother me so much. I would put my fingers and sometimes my entire hand in my mouth and it would make me feel better. Now, not much makes me feel better. Mommy gives me Humphrey’s or Hylands, and when I’m really fussy she gives me Tylenol. I just hope these teeth break through soon because I am not a happy camper and I know Mommy is getting tired of having to carry me and soothe me all day.

I received my second and third rounds of vaccinations. I have to admit that they did not go as well as the first time. They REALLY hurt me and I screamed and cried so hard that mommy thought I was going to stop breathing. I really scared her, but I got through it though and I was all better when I left the doctor’s office. Dr. Mike says I am a healthy guy and I am growing like a champ.

Mommy bought me a new swing. I had another swing that went back and forth, but I wasn’t into it too much. Mommy bought me the type of swing that sways from side to side and I LOVE it. I can fall asleep in it when I’m tired. It is very soothing for me. Mommy just hopes I don’t grow out of it too quickly.

Overall, I am doing well. I laugh, smile, and play all the time. I’m making my mommy and daddy proud!

Girls, Girls, Girls

I had a play date with my friend Natalie. We played together in her pack n play with her activity gym. It was fun, except when she tried to hold my hand. Yuck, Girls?!?! I won't lie, Natalie is a cool girl.

It started off so innocent, while we were playing.

Here is Natalie trying to bust a move.

I gave in and I let her hold my arm. I'm such a gentlemen.

My First Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! I started off the day opening up a valentine card from Mommy and Daddy. Then Daddy made me and Mommy waffles. We watched the movie, "The Blind Side", then we got ready to go have lunch. I wore my Valentine's 'tie' shirt that Auntie Alison and Uncle Anthony bought me. We went to eat at our favorite restaurant "Baja Fish Tacos." After lunch, we made our way to Newport Beach. It was my first time ever at the beach. Daddy showed me his surf spot. Mommy and Daddy wanted to go for a walk, but I did not want to walk. I wanted to put my toes in the warm sand and look at the waves. I now love the beach and I look forward to spending many sunny days there. It was a great first Valentine's Day!

New Milestones - 2 Months to 3 Months

Another month has passed by and I surprised Mommy the other day when I laughed for her. I've been flashing my smile daily, but I never let out a laugh. So, I thought it was time to give her another thing to be proud of. Mommy and Daddy sing to me all the time and I sing with them. My favorite songs are ABC's and Mary Had a Little Lamb. My coordination is getting better because I now reach out and grab my toys and put them in my mouth. I put everything in my mouth. It is the best way to experience new things. Mommy isn't too excited about this habit, but she allows it in moderation. I'm growing quickly and I'm having fun with all my new experiences. I look forward to many more adventures.

I'm a brave little boy

I had my 2 month doctor appointment yesterday where I received my first round of vaccinations. Mommy was dreading it for two weeks. She was very worried about me, but I kept telling her that I would be a brave little boy. Since Daddy had to work, Nina Elda went with us to provide support. I think she was actually there to provide support to Mommy rather than me. Dr Mike just opened his own practice last week and everyone was still learning their new system, so it took some time to be seen. When we finally got to see Dr Mike, Mommy had a million questions for him. I was a little embarrassed with all her questions, but I know she means well. I was upset when Dr Mike first started examining me because he woke me up. However, I soon settled down. Dr Mike said I am very healthy and am progressing nicely. He said that I'll be hitting many milestones very soon, so things should start to get exciting for everyone. I was starting to get very hungry because it was past my lunch time, but then the nurse came in to give me my vaccines. Mommy's heart started racing and I could see that the tears were going to start flowing, so I knew I could not cry. I did not cry while I got the shot, however I did let out a little yelp when they took the needle out. Mommy fed me right after we left the office, so I was happy again. We came home and I slept all afternoon. I don't know how long I can be brave because that really hurt. However, I'll do my best for our next appointment in February.

New Milestones - 1 Month to 2 Months

As I continue to grow, I impress Mommy and Daddy with my many milestones. I flashed my first smile on 12/22/09. It was my Christmas gift to Mommy and Daddy. Now I smile every morning. I also started talking with my coos. Dr Mike told Mommy to start putting lotion all over me after every bath, so I now get a massage every day. He also wants me to do tummy time, so if I’m in a good mood, I get on my surfboard mat and do tummy time. Mommy and Daddy have been taking me to eat with them at restaurants. Although I do not stay awake for the main course, Mommy is very nice to hold me while she eats her meal. I know Mommy and Daddy are excited for all my ‘first’ events, so we’ll keep you updated on my progress each month.

Happy New Year

I spent New Year's Eve with Mommy and Daddy at home. It was the perfect way to start off the new year with the two people I love the most. We ate sushi and had brownies for dessert. We watched a couple of movies and Mommy and I fell asleep at 10pm. Daddy woke Mommy up at 11:58pm so she can watch the countdown. They tried to wake me up, but even with all their kisses on my cheeks, there was no waking me up. Happy New Year to all my family and friends! I wish you health, happiness, and success in 2010.

Palmer at the stroke of midnight. He partied to hard, so there was no waking him up.
