I'm a brave little boy

I had my 2 month doctor appointment yesterday where I received my first round of vaccinations. Mommy was dreading it for two weeks. She was very worried about me, but I kept telling her that I would be a brave little boy. Since Daddy had to work, Nina Elda went with us to provide support. I think she was actually there to provide support to Mommy rather than me. Dr Mike just opened his own practice last week and everyone was still learning their new system, so it took some time to be seen. When we finally got to see Dr Mike, Mommy had a million questions for him. I was a little embarrassed with all her questions, but I know she means well. I was upset when Dr Mike first started examining me because he woke me up. However, I soon settled down. Dr Mike said I am very healthy and am progressing nicely. He said that I'll be hitting many milestones very soon, so things should start to get exciting for everyone. I was starting to get very hungry because it was past my lunch time, but then the nurse came in to give me my vaccines. Mommy's heart started racing and I could see that the tears were going to start flowing, so I knew I could not cry. I did not cry while I got the shot, however I did let out a little yelp when they took the needle out. Mommy fed me right after we left the office, so I was happy again. We came home and I slept all afternoon. I don't know how long I can be brave because that really hurt. However, I'll do my best for our next appointment in February.
