Spring break 2018 was a bit more cold and gloomy than I'd like, but I still had a nice break. We started off with a cub scout hike with Parker's den on Saturday and Easter on Sunday. For Easter, the Easter Bunny filled our basket with sweet eggs and certificates to play extra kindle time and go to Yogurtland. Mommy and Daddy hid 75 eggs inside our house and Parker and I got to search for them. We were up, down, and all around our house searching. We even found golden eggs with money. We spent the day at Grandma Lu's eating breakfast and spending time with family. We celebrated Joce's 7th birthday at Farrell's with our entire family on Monday night. On Wednesday, Joce came over and we went bowling and at at Round Table. We boogied down on Friday at a party hosted by my friend Aawin. Saturday was spa time which brightened our day. To end the break, we spent Sunday morning jumping at Big Air followed by picnic in our backyard. The week went by quickly, but we had a great time!

Our 2nd grade class play was "Geology Rocks." I played a mountain. It was a fun play filled with acting, singing and dancing. We put in many days of practice, but all our hard work paid off as we had a successful show for our schoolmates and parents.

While the rest of the country is covered with snow and freezing weather, we have been having beautiful warmer weather and clear skies. Mommy continues to remind us how lucky we are to live in Southern California. To celebrate this blessing, we made it a beach day. We went down to Little Corona to check out the tide pools. We saw several different species of marine life. Even though the water was extremely chilly, it was still too tempting not to go in. It was a fun family day and I hope to many more winter beach days.

It is officially 2018! This is my 9th year celebrating New Year's. Every year is so much fun as we light off indoor poppers and confetti rockets. We try to dress in yellow or gold for good luck. Mommy has a list of all the traditions we need to do on New Year's Eve to say goodbye to the year and hello to a new year. Mommy is excited for the new beginning, I'm just excited to set off my rockets. It is going to be another great year! Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas. We had a wonderful Christmas Day spent with Daddy's side of the family at our house. This was our first year hosting, so everyone came over to our house to celebrate. We began our morning bright and early by opening up the gifts that Santa brought to us. I got the Lego Modular House I wanted from Santa. Mommy and Daddy got us gaming chairs and a 12 in 1 game table. We loved our presents and spent some time playing on our game table. Our family came over midday and filled our house with even more presents. We enjoyed a wonderful meal together, opened up our of our gifts, and played some games. We had so much fun with our cousins. The holiday is always a great time of year and this year did not fail to impress.

Today is Christmas Eve and we celebrated with Mommy's side of the family. We started with breakfast at Grandma Lu's. Santa came early so we got to open a lot of presents. After a great morning with Grandma Lucille and all our family, we went over to Grandpa John's. We spent the afternoon with the Sanchez family eating, playing outside, and opening up lots of presents. It was a fun time with all our cousins. It was an early night to get home and get our cookies and carrots ready for Santa and his reindeer.
