Grandpa's Birthday

We took Grandpa John to Trabuco Oaks Steakhouse for his birthday. If you wear a tie, they cut it off. So, of course, Mommy made me wear a stupid tie. I guess it was pretty funny when they came to cut it off.

Happy Birthday Grandpa! I love you!!!

Happy Birthday Palmer - I’m 1 year old!!!!

Mommy and Daddy say this was the fastest year of their life. I’ve grown so much in my first year of life. Mommy says she is very sad that it went by so quickly, but she is happy at the stage I’m in now because I can play, I can laugh, I can clap, I can dance (it’s actually my favorite thing to do), I can eat (with the 8 teeth in my mouth), I can walk (even though I prefer crawling still), I love outdoor adventures (I get cabin fever if I’m cooped up too long), I can talk (even though she doesn’t always understand me)…I’m much more interactive! I’ve had an AMAZING first year filled with lots of love from all my family and friends. I’m one lucky boy!!! Even though the years will go by quickly and I’ll grow up to be a big boy, I’ll try to enjoy every day regardless of what it may bring. Mommy says she’ll be happy as long as I remain her little baby forever. I guess I can give her that one considering all she does for me.

…On to new (toddler) adventures!

My 1st Birthday Party!!!

Mommy and Daddy planned a great party! It was circus themed, filled with cheese popcorn, caramel popcorn, candy apples, cotton candy, rainbow cupcakes, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, chili beans....basically lots of junk food. Auntie Norma and Nina Elda got me a balloon artist and he was AMAZING. You should see all the balloons he was able to make. Nina Elda was our face painter and she painted really cool designs. We asked people to dress up in clown attire and people really got in to the spirit. Even though Uncle Donnie couldn't come to the party, he dyed his hair and shaved it to look like Bozo the clown. He sent me a picture so I can could see his costume. Mommy, Daddy, Nina Elda, Auntie Norma, and Grandma Lu decorated the party with LOTS of balloons. It put a smile on my face when I woke up to see all the balloons in my house. I got so many presents too! It was an exciting day for me and I'm so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. I can't wait to have another year go by, so I can have another birthday party.
