Touch a Truck

We went to the Touch a Truck event today in San Diego at Qualcomm Stadium. Daddy had to work, so I went with brother, grandpa John, grandpa Al, grandma Katy, and mommy. We had a great time. Proceeds benefit child cancer research. It was a great cause and a fun day. I got to sit in a 53' reefer truck, a dump truck, a fire truck, a school bus, a backhoe, and a trash truck. My favorite was the trash truck, but the backhoe was a close second. I really enjoyed pulling the horn on the dump truck. It was very loud and it scared my brother and made him cry. We saw Robosaurus breathe fire and smash up a car. There was so much to do and see that we did not get to see it all. I hope we go again next year.

A Historical Day to Remember

Today we went and saw the shuttle fly over beautiful Southern California. It was so cool to see the two "airplanes" on top of each other...that is how I described it to mommy. I may not exactly remember this day when I grow up, but at least I can say I did experience 'a historical day to remember.'
