Winter Beach Day

While the rest of the country is covered with snow and freezing weather, we have been having beautiful warmer weather and clear skies.  Mommy continues to remind us how lucky we are to live in Southern California.  To celebrate this blessing, we made it a beach day.  We went down to Little Corona to check out the tide pools.  We saw several different species of marine life.  Even though the water was extremely chilly, it was still too tempting not to go in.  It was a fun family day and I hope to many more winter beach days.

Happy New Year 2018!

It is officially 2018!  This is my 9th year celebrating New Year's.  Every year is so much fun as we light off indoor poppers and confetti rockets.  We try to dress in yellow or gold for good luck.  Mommy has a list of all the traditions we need to do on New Year's Eve to say goodbye to the year and hello to a new year.  Mommy is excited for the new beginning, I'm just excited to set off my rockets.  It is going to be another great year!  Happy New Year!
