Meet our New Girls

Please meet our new girls, Penny and Cloud.  Penelope "Penny" is copper like a shiny  penny and "Cloud" is white and fluffy like a cloud.  they are female guinea pigs and they are our pets.  I've been dying for a pet and Mommy and Daddy finally agreed, so grandma Lu gave them to me as my birthday presents.  I asked for two - one for me and one for my brother.  I love our girls!

Field Trip to Rancho Las Lomas

Mommy joined us on our 1st grade field trip to Rancho Las Lomas.  It is a private resort that has an exotic zoo on the grounds.  It was some interesting to see the Alpacas, Macaws, Eli and Savannah the Servals, Ziddle and Zaddle the Zebras, and the White Bengal Tiger named Lily.  It had been rainy and cold this winter season, but it turned out to be a cool yet sunny day.

Tour de Orange - New Year's Day Canyon Run 2017

Following tradition, we went to the canyon and saw all the cool cars go for their annual run.  It is always excited to see all the exotic car zooming by as they rev their engine.  One day I want to be a part of this New Year's Day run.

New Year's Day Hike

We started a new tradition today by kicking 2017 off with a morning hike.  It was a crisp and clear day and the view was gorgeous.

Happy New Year!  2017 is here and we rang in the new year with Mommy and Daddy at home.  We had a fun night sitting by the fire, playing games, and popping our poppers.  Mommy says it is best to ring in the new year with those you went to spend your year with, so who better than our family.
